Championship attracts the best Australian & New Zealand one-design class sailors to compete in seven race series. Previous winners of the series include America's Cup, Olympic class, Sydney-Hobart race winners & class
World Champions. The sailors enjoy travelling to Queensland to compete in the warm June winds blowing off Mooloolaba. The sailors usually encounter not only high-quality competition but also challenging sailing conditions. The

The Sunshine Coast Concert Band loves to play tunes that are familiar and exciting to its audiences, and so they will present a "Musical Memories" concert at 2pm on Sunday June 12th in the Caloundra
Uniting Church, Queen St.
As usual, there'll be 2 hours of wonderful band numbers and different musical styles - including Swing, Dixie, Irish and Spanish tunes, and favourite songs such as Granada, Lucky Old Sun, As Time Goes By,
Sweet Caroline - an exciting variety!
The compere is Graham Schulz, with Singers Alan Winter, Bev Gourlay, Aart Schouten and Ken Farrow.
The band gives this annual concert in appreciation of the Cittamani Hospice's wonderful support and palliative care activities.
After last year's concert, the Music Director, Ken Chadwick OAM was able to present a cheque for $3,210 to Alex Moore, Director of the Hospice group. Cittamani has helped many members of our community, and
this is an opportunity to say "Thankyou" by supporting this charity and this local excellent band.
Admission at the door is $12, which includes a delicious afternoon tea.
