Spend Australia Day in Buderim & celebrate our heritage with a full program of good ol’ Aussie fun, sport & music.

7am to 9am: Lions Bush Breakfast
8am: Flag Raising & national anthem
Ecumenical Church Service at St Marks
8.30am: Enchanted Forest opens (Art, clay etc)
9am: Rotary Australia Day Float Parade through Buderim Village, down Burnett St to the School oval
10.15am: Rotary Float Prizes awarded (including judging of Best Dressed Australiana Theme & Best Decorated Bicycle)
10.30am: Dog agility & obedience exhibition
11am: Judging of Fairies & Super Heroes, Art etc (in the Enchanted Forest with presentation of prizes)
11.15am: Sunshine Coast Idol Semi-Final
12.30pm: COMPETITIONS - Great prizes in all categories

Celebrate Australia Day at AussieWorld!

Aussie World, Frizzo Road, Bruce Highway, Palmview

Spend Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January 2011, with your family at Aussie World. In the morning there’s the famous Dunny Races and Tug-of-War for the adults. After this it’s time for the entire family to move into Aussie World where there’s heaps of kid’s competitions and great prizes to be won.
It's the biggest day out on the Coast so grab your family and friends and go where the locals go – to Aussie World for day full of family fun!
The Australia Day Dunny Races and Tug-of-War are held in front of the Ettamogah Pub and are free to watch. All other races and games are for the kids and take place inside Aussie World. To take part in or to watch the other Australia Day games and activities simply purchase one of the following to gain entrance into the Park. These prices are our normal prices throughout the year but on Australia Day you get more bang for your buck!
