The Summer Cup is a highlight of the Sunshine Coast Turf Club’s summer racing program & is shaping up to be the 4th largest annual race meet on the Sunshine Coast after Melbourne Cup, Caloundra Cup & Ladies Oaks Day. It attracts top horses, trainers & jockeys & for punters and spectators, the day is full of fun & festivity. Enjoy the entertainment & keep the children happy with rides & activities.
The Sunshine Coast Turf Club's Corbould Park Racecourse is one of the country's finest thoroughbred racing and training facilities. Located less than an hour north of Brisbane and just minutes from the Sunshine Coast's gorgeous City of Caloundra, Corbould Park races every Sunday and from Friday 18 July 2008 every third Friday on the Cushion Track, as well as our feature race days.

No longer is racing a sport only for those "in the know". It is a sport which creates an exciting social environment, a place where people from all walks of life can enjoy a day of fun. Be they a $1 each way punter or a serious threat to a Bookmaker's takings, punters can enjoy excellent facilities and informative coverage of both local and interstate races.
