Sat 23 Aug Grace Knight Dinner & Show Sunshine Coast Function Centre Caloundra RSL, 19 West Tce Caloundra In a career spanning 30 years, Grace Knight has earned her stripes as one of Australia’s premier jazz vocalists. She launched the Eurogliders to the top of the charts in the ’80s, became Australia’s number-one selling jazz diva in the ’90s and has performed alongside the best in the business. Though Grace, 50, has tasted plenty of success she says some of the best times have been when she has played at intimate gigs in front of enthusiastic audiences. “I think if the audience has enjoyed it, that’s the highlight for me,” she said. “I’ve played with famous people, but to be honest it’s not really a highlight because you’re kind of stilted in what you can do. “But the greatest part is just simply the fact that I’ve been doing this for 30 years and am still getting paid to do what I love.” Non-Members will require photo identification to gain access to the venue. Tickets $50 for dinner + show, on sale now (An additional $2 booking fee also applies) Tickets available at reception, Caloundra RSL or call 07 5491 1544 Whilst collecting your tickets, if you are not already a member this is the time to buy your RSL membership for $5.00.
